Barra Beach

With a length of 750 metres and an average width of 30 metres, Barra Beach is considered the best nudist beach in Galicia.

The fine white sand has numerous remains of broken shells. Behind the dune system, a pleasant pine forest appears, streching along the beaches of Nerga, Viñó and Barra.

Barra and its surroundings are included in an area of outstanding natural beauty called “Dunas de Barra and Costa de Soavela”, belonging to the Natura 2000 network for the protection of natural areas.

The whole bay is a natural paradise that you can also access by doing a low level walking route from Melide Beach, in the Cabo Home area. In summer, many boats choose this bay to anchor and spend the day.
