    In A Cunchiña beach, in Cangas your dogs will be able to run, jump, play and swim. It is one of the 38 beaches that Cangas has in its census. There are some other beaches where you can also go with dogs, but that’s a little secret we keep for our guests. They are beaches where you can go and be almost alone, so please understand us when we prefer to tell you in person.

    The beach of A Cunchiña is right in front of the old Massó cannery. Massó was once the largest cannery in Europe. The beach of A Cunchiña is about 100m long and 15m wide, and is a sandy beach that ends in a rocky area. On this dog beach you will have sun from early in the morning and it is also protected from the north wind (the predominant wind in summer that brings good weather).

    A Cunchiña beach can be reached by car and parked about 200m from the descent to the beach, or you can walk from the centre of Cangas. The dog friendly beach of A Cunchiña is 2.6km from Apartamentos Rodeiramar2A (30 minutes walk along the promenade).

    You can also take the opportunity to walk around the pedestrian area around the old Massó factory and if you feel like walking a little further, link up with the coastal path that goes from Areamilla Beach to Liméns.
